HUNTING GROUNDS IV/9 POKUPSKI BAZEN and III/25 PETROVA GORA
Between the Zagreb-Karlovac highway and the river Kupa, in a tame plain there is the lowland hunting area Pokupski bazen. This is a typical wild boar, roe deer and wild duck habitat, in autumn there is the woodcock as well. From well equipped, closed shooting stads one can shoot wild boar and birds all year round. Roe deer can be hunted during summer and autumn.
HUNTING GROUND IV/3 “BUKOVACA”
Bukovaca hunting ground is a highland type area, with the surface of 6762 hectares of hunting area, suitable environment for low and high game. It is located in the area between Ogulin and Vrbovsko, only 4 km away from Rijeka-Zagreb highway (exit Vrbovsko).
FISHING
Karlovac County is among favorite and attractive destinations for fishing tourism in Croatia. The richness of clear water is awarded with a large number of fishes. You are invited to respect hunting quota and to protect endangered fish species.
